Job Title: Aeronautical Engineering Intern – UAV Design & Development
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (On-site)
Type: Full-time Internship
Duration: 3 – 6 Months
Role Overview: You will work closely with our R&D team on the structural design and aerodynamic analysis of fixed-wing and multi-rotor drones. This is a hands-on role involving CAD modeling, prototyping, and composite material fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the conceptual and detailed design of UAV airframes using CAD software (SolidWorks/CATIA).
• Perform aerodynamic calculations and structural analysis (FEA/CFD) to optimize drone performance.
• Support the manufacturing team in composite fabrication (carbon fiber/glass fiber).
• Assist in the assembly, integration, and ground testing of UAV prototypes.
• Document design changes, test results, and technical reports.
Requirements:
• Current student or recent graduate in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
• Basic understanding of aerodynamics, stability, and control of aircraft.
• Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
